Hebgen Lake Fishing

Hebgen Lake is a world-class fishing destination right near Yellowstone Holiday. It is known for some of the best dry fly trout fishing in North America. Anglers can cast for healthy brown and rainbow trout (often 14–18 inches and bigger) from boat or shoreline, enjoying scenic alpine water that stretches over 16 miles long.

  • The Marina at Yellowstone Holiday provides a convenient launching point for all of the lake’s recreational activities
  • All boats must be in slips or on trailers in the parking lot – boat beaching is not allowed

Our General Store sells last-minute needs: snacks, beverages, bait, fishing supplies, fuel, propane, firewood, ice, and of course everyone’s favorite—ice cream! A launch ramp, boat slips, fuel dock, and trailer storage are also available. Wireless Internet access is available at no charge.
